Purpose
 

The Mission of the Del Rey Oaks Parks & Recreation Committee is to enrich the lives of Del Rey Oaks residents and visitors by providing exceptional parks and recreation experiences.

We strive to preserve, enhance, and protect our open spaces, parks, and facilities.

2022 Update

The Parks & Recreation Committee has had an exciting and productive year. New play equipment and two Bocce Ball courts have been installed at Del Rey Park along with a brightly painted community wall. We sent out a Citywide survey to gauge what residents would like to see happen within the Parks & Recreation system. We held a Park Opening Celebration along with the Citizens Action Group that had a wonderful turnout of residents and families. We also just had our first Movie in the Park Night featuring “Ghost Busters”. A fun evening was had by all. The park is one of the jewels of our small town, and it is great to see residents and visitors discover its appeal.
Community input is encouraged and welcome. We are looking for interested residents who can help us explore options and future endeavors.
